This week’s safety post once again comes from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. They want to remind truck and bus drivers of a few tips to avoid getting into any crashes this holiday season. Truck drivers should make sure to do the following things:
- Defense and constant vigilance
- Signal for safety
- Know when to slow
- Maintain your vehicle
- Buckle up
- Stay sharp
- Get the right trip planning info
- Practice work zone safety
- Never drive distracted
